What is a full set of extensions?

Eyelash extensions are individual strands of synthetic fiber made to replicate a natural eyelash. Different curls and lengths are used to enhance your unique eye shape and features. A full set is achieving full coverage.

What are the different types of lash extensions?

There are 3 main types: Flirty (Classic), Fabulous (Hybrid), and Glam (Volume). Please see Services page for pictures and details.

What is a lash fill?

We generally lose between 2-5 natural lashes a day, though we do not notice them — However, when you are wearing eyelash extensions, you will become more aware of lash shedding. Don’t worry – it’s all part of the natural lash cycle. A fill is recommended every 2-4 weeks to maintain fullness. In a fill we remove and replace the grown extensions and extend all qualifying remaining natural lashes. It normally takes half the time of a full set.

How long will a set of lash extensions last?

Eyelash extensions will last the length of your own natural lashes growth cycle. Depending on your day-to-day routine, your lash extensions should require minimal monthly maintenance. A full set of lash extensions can last up to 8 weeks (Until all lash extensions have fallen off).

Do Lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

If applied correctly and properly, they are safe and do NOT ruin the health of natural lashes. Be sure to keep your lashes clean, follow aftercare and avoid pulling or excessively touching them which can cause lash loss or even damage your natural lashes.

Are lash extensions waterproof?

Yes, after application, lash extensions are instantly waterproof and oil resistant, meaning you can get a facial, jump in the pool, or shower right after your appointment!!! and you may also continue to use your favorite face products without looking at the ingredients.

How long will it take to apply lash extensions and how is it done?

On average, it takes about 2 hours for a full set of classics and about 3 hours for a full set of volume.
You will lay comfortably on a heated foam-covered massage table. Your bottom lashes will be covered with a under-eye gel pad. Your eyes will remain close during application. Extensions will be applied one at a time using an isolation technique with sterilized tweezers. The application process is pain-free, some consider the service relaxing and take a “lash nap.” Lash extensions look and feel completely natural and should not cause any discomfort.

How do I choose the look I want?

During your initial consultation, your technician will have you fill out some paperwork and talk with you to understand what look you want to achieve. She will take a look at your eye shape and natural lashes to determine what style/design will work best with you. Please do not expect your lashes to look like some else’s, everyone is beautifully unique!

What happens if I choose to have my eyelashes removed?

Please do not attempt to remove lash extensions by yourself, you may cause permanent damage to your natural lashes! Instead, schedule a lash extension removal, this service takes between 20 to 45 min. A gel remover is safely applied on the base of your extensions to dissolve the adhesive, lash extensions will be gently wiped away with a lint free applicator exposing your damage-free natural lashes.
